By submitting an application, I acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:
- The application will be reviewed by NJ Youth Soccer prior to the team’s acceptance for compliance with the NJYS State Cups Flighting Guidelines, Age Group Determination Rules, and other qualifying criteria as necessary.
- The submission of this application does not guarantee acceptance into the above-mentioned tournament.
- Payment for this application will be deposited, and if payment is refused or otherwise not timely remitted, the application may be revoked.
- Teams that withdraw prior to the final registration deadline are eligible for a full refund of their registration fee. Teams that withdraw after the registration deadline, but prior to the tournament scheduled is released may incur a $50 processing fee. Teams that withdraw after the tournament the schedule is posted are subject to the forfeit rules. Teams that withdraw, but are otherwise required to participate in state cups (e.g., National League), may be subject to additional fines and impact eligibility for the National League.
- Teams entering the State Cup competition must be able to comply with all listed “play-by” dates. Before registering, teams should carefully consider any potential conflicts, including but not limited to spring break, coaching availability, and holidays. Teams that fail to meet the required play-by dates may be subject to forfeiture, sanctions, and possible fines in accordance with the Rules of Competition.
- After registration is complete, coaches must be added to the team roster within three (3) days. Failure to add coaches within this timeframe may result in not receiving important information regarding scheduling, tournament updates, and other competition-related communications. Teams that do not have coaches added to the roster within three (3) days of registration completion risk removal from the tournament.
- Teams entering the State Cup competition must have field availability at the start of the competition, including proper lighting for evening matches. To host matches, teams must be able to offer multiple scheduling options, including both weeknight and weekend dates, with reasonable start and end times. Teams that do not have access to fields beginning March 16, lack proper lighting, or are unable to offer varied scheduling options will forfeit the right to host home matches until such time as compliant field access is available. This requirement ensures the competition progresses as scheduled and all play-by dates are met.
- In the event my team competing in the Presidents Cup or National Championship Series is afforded the opportunity to compete in the regional and/or national levels of the competition, my team agrees to participate or otherwise pay fines and penalties imposed by US Youth Soccer and/or NJ Youth Soccer.
- The team has read and agrees to abide by the Rules of Competition set forth by and posted on the “State Cups” section of the NJ Youth Soccer website.
