Scheduling Overview

  • The date listed for the game is the latest the game must be played by. Teams are strongly encouraged to play matches earlier.
  • The Home Team is responsible for proposing your first game date, time, location in the platform.
  • The Away Team is responsible for accepting/declining the proposal and sending alternate options.
  • Once the Away Team accepts the match details, the game is updated on Squadi & Referee Assignors receive the match.

Please allow a minimum of 5 days prior to a game for scheduling the game to ensure referees can be assigned.

All scheduling conflicts must be submitted to NJYS via email to statecups@njyouthsoccer.com. This includes (a) an opponent that is unresponsive, (b) the teams cannot agree on a date after three attempts, or (c) the game cannot be completed by the play-by date. Please do not wait to escalate potential issues.

As a reminder, all games must be accurately scheduled in the Squadi platform to receive a referee assignment and access rosters on game day.
