The New Jersey Olympic Development Program (ODP) offers an exciting opportunity for young players born in 2014 and 2015 to train alongside ambitious peers within their region. The Young Olympians Program, led by experienced ODP coaches, provides a structured and dynamic training environment designed to introduce players to the ODP curriculum. This program not only focuses on developing technical skills and tactical awareness but also serves as a platform for coaches to identify top young talent from across the state, setting the stage for future success in competitive soccer.
Program Details:
- The NJ Youth Soccer Young Olympians (YOP) Program begins in March 2025.
- Open to boys and girls born in 2014 and 2015.
- Sessions hosted regionally: South, Shore, Central, North.
Training Overview:
- Led by a consistent core of NJYS coaches using an age-appropriate curriculum and methodology.
- Focus on technical skill development and tactical awareness.
- Players train with other ambitious players.
Program Highlights:
- Three training sessions.
- 4v4 and 9v9 tournaments.
- Introductory exposure to the US Youth Soccer ODP and NJYS ODP environment.
Registration Details:
- Cost: $165
- Includes complimentary access to the Techne Futbol platform (beginning in late March).
