New Jersey Youth Soccer State Cups
Registration for the Fall 2026 New Jersey Youth Soccer (NJYS) State Cups is now open!
FALL 2026 (11U-14U)
Register by August 10th to compete in New Jersey’s premier single-elimination tournament for 11U-14U age teams. Whether your team is competing in the National Championship Series, Presidents Cup, or Challenge Cup, the NJYS State Cup offers an exciting championship experience and the opportunity to compete against top teams from across the state.
Expanded Eligibility for 2026!
New Jersey Youth Soccer is excited to expand participation opportunities for teams throughout the state. Beginning this fall, New Jersey-based teams affiliated with any U.S. Soccer member organization are eligible to compete in the appropriate NJYS State Cup competition, regardless of their league or sanctioning organization.

To participate in an NJYS State Cup competition, all teams must register with NJ Youth Soccer for the competition. As part of this process:
- Teams, players, and coaches must be registered with NJYS.
- NJYS-issued player passes are required for all participating players and coaches.
- All players must complete NJYS age verification.
- All coaches must satisfy NJYS coaching compliance requirements, including applicable background screening and SafeSport requirements.
Additional Information:
- For the 2026-2027 NJYS State Cups, GotSport will be used for team registration and game scheduling.
- Entry fees remain unchanged from the previous season, but late registrants will be assessed an additional fee.
- Winners of the National Championship Series (13U and older) will advance directly to the National Championships.
- Winners of the Presidents Cup (13U and older) will advance to the Regional Qualifiers.

Teams that are not currently registered with a NJYS member league and activated through the StackSport platform will need to take additional steps to register their team, players, and coaches with NJ Youth Soccer. Please note that there is an additional cost of $15 per player and coach to register your team.

OCTOBER/NOVEMBER 2026

- Saturday & Sunday, October 31st and November 1st – State Cup Championships (Hosted by NJYS)
The “Latest Play Date” is the last date that the match must be completed for this round. Matches played after this date are subject to the sole discretion and approval of NJ Youth Soccer in accordance with the Rules of Competition. Prior to registering for the competition, please ensure your team can compete on time and in accordance with the scheduled deadlines above.

Frequently Asked Questions
The tiered competition structure provides a competition level for each competitive team. NJYS has established guidelines for competition placement based on the team’s league flight. See above for the flighting recommendations.
For the 2026-2027 NJYS State Cups, GotSport will be used for team registration and game scheduling.
The 11U-14U age groups compete in the fall season (e.g., September through November). The 15U-19U age groups compete in the spring season (e.g., March through May).
For the 2026-2027 season, winners of the 13U-18/19U NJ Youth Soccer level of the National Championships Series advance directly to the National Championships in July 2027.
Winners of the 13U-18/19U NJ Youth Soccer level of the Presidents Cup will advance to the National Qualifiers in June 2027, with the chance to advance to the US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup in July 2027.
The Challenge Cup champions do not advance to a regional or national event.

Games may be scheduled by both teams at a mutually agreeable time before the posted ‘play-by’ date listed for each round (e.g., Round of 32, Round of 16, Quarterfinals, and Semifinals). The championships matches are played on a date and time set by NJ Youth Soccer.
Games are played at a venue designated by the home teams for the preliminary round games (e.g., (e.g., Round of 32, Round of 16, Quarterfinals, and Semifinals). The championship matches are played at a neutral site coordinated by NJ Youth Soccer.
