NJYS Athlete and Participant Safety Program
NJ Youth Soccer continues to develop its Athlete and Participant Safety Program as part of its Risk Management program. The Athlete and Participant Safety Program is designed to meet requirements set forth by Federal Legislation in the Public Law 115-126 Protecting Young Victims from Sexual Abuse and Safe Sport Authorization Act of 2017 (the "SafeSport Act") as well as U.S. Soccer Federation Policy 212-3.
NJYS direct member organizations, and those organizations that are indirectly affiliated with NJYS via membership or participation with any NJYS direct member organization, are expected to maintain compliance with these requirements.

US Soccer Recognize to Recover
Recognize to Recover is aimed at promoting safe play and reducing injuries in soccer players of all ages. The first-of-its-kind, the program was developed with the help of medical experts to provide coaches, players, parents and referees with information, guidance and additional educational materials to improve the prevention and management of injuries.
