Players in NJ Youth Soccer may only have one Travel Member Pass (i.e. primary card). NJ Youth Soccer also permits secondary permissions for 9U through 19U players. Note that this is not permitted for 6U through 8U. Policies for secondary permissions are determined at the League level. See your local NJ Youth Soccer Member League for details.
Note: NJ Youth Soccer began allowing club passing with the 2017-2018 seasonal year. Club passes are used to play on another team within the same club as long as proper age restrictions are met. In such cases, secondary player permissions are not needed or applicable. Contact your League for specific policies and rules of its competition.
Reminders:
NJ Youth Soccer defines a friendly or scrimmage as any soccer-related event taking place in New Jersey in which all participants (players and coaches) are in possession of valid/current US Youth Soccer/NJ Youth Soccer passes, and the event is not a scheduled US Youth Soccer/NJ Youth Soccer league or competition (e.g. sanctioned tournament) match.
Referee coverage may be utilized for these events, but any referees used must be currently US Soccer registered, and must be procured via a certified NJSRC registered assignor.
