NJ Youth Soccer Announces Partnership with SportsRecruits

New Jersey Youth Soccer and SportsRecruits have announced a partnership to launch a suite of technology products that will improve the recruiting process for players and parents. Assets from SportsRecruits will benefit the high school-aged players who are selected to the 2022-2023 NJYS Olympic Development Program (ODP) as well as high school-aged teams that are participating in NJYS State Cups.

“Enhancing the collegiate identification process is a priority for NJYS ODP,” said James Galanis, NJYS Technical Director. “We are thrilled to partner with SportsRecruits to provide this platform for our players.”

Through this partnership, every New Jersey ODP student-athlete will receive free access to create and maintain a player profile on SportsRecruits. Their accounts will include contact details, academic information, upcoming event schedules and videos. Having a profile on the SportsRecruits platform will allow college coaches to efficiently discover, track and recruit student-athletes who are a fit for their program.

All college coaches will receive free access to EventBeacon, which is the digital recruiting tool powered by SportsRecruits. Through EventBeacon, coaches will have access to complete team rosters, event schedules and the profiles of student-athletes on SportsRecruits. Player evaluations made within the app can be directly exported into CRM software.

Following each recruiting event, NJ Youth Soccer will host game film on EventBeacon On Demand, the virtual recruiting experience for college coaches that allows them to analyze players long after the event has ended. This best-in-class technology will allow coaches to recruit more efficiently before, during and after NJYS events. All of these tools are available free of charge for college coaches.

“Since 2008, we have been true to our mission of empowering student-athletes to pursue their dreams,” said Chris Meade, co-founder and co-CEO of SportsRecruits. “With NJYS and their ODP program, student-athletes will have access to a network that makes it easy to connect with college coaches and leverage their activity throughout the year in one network. We look forward to working with all of the ODP selections in the upcoming months.”

To streamline the recruiting tools available for New Jersey ODP players, NJ Youth Soccer will provide eligible players with selected access to the SportsRecruits Club Management Platform. ODP student-athletes will receive more information this fall after teams are selected and they are committed to joining the program. Further information for NJYS State Cups participants will also be provided this fall.
