NJ Youth Soccer Supports 5th Annual All Kids One Field Community Night

New Jersey Youth Soccer recently supported All Kids One Field’s 5th Annual Soccer Community Night, which featured Gotham FC players Sabrina Flores, Nealy Martin, Mandy Haught and Mandy Freeman. This fun-filled event brought together more than 500 participants from Freehold for a free evening of soccer and community bonding.

Soccer Community Night is All Kids One Field’s premier event. They use this event as a powerful opportunity to bring kids and families from all communities together to make meaningful new friendships, celebrate the game and have fun. They have enjoyed great success over the past five years of this event, and many new friendships have been made on the fields during Soccer Community Night.

In addition to the players from Gotham FC, Soccer Community Night also featured attendees such as the New York Red Bulls Freestyle Team, New Jersey Senator Vin Gopal and Freehold Fire Department Fitness. Freehold Borough and Freehold Township Police Officers also supported the event.

To get things started, Gotham FC players Sabrina Flores, Nealy Martin, Mandy Haught and Mandy Freeman worked with all the kids in attendance during a pre-event clinic. AKOF volunteers, along with Freehold Borough and Township Police Officers, helped coach the kids alongside the Gotham FC players. Kids and families then had an opportunity to participate in a meet and greet after the clinic wrapped up.

All Kids One Field’s mission and goal for its community is to bridge diverse community groups by promoting participation in community sports, local sporting events, wellness activities and art. Chris Naspo, AKOF Founder, leads the foundation each year in making this event possible. With months of organization and preparation and with the support of many volunteers, Soccer Community Night always exceeds expectations.

“It is always exciting to see how the game can give us so much if we do things right. We all remember our teammates no matter where they come from,” said Naspo.
