NJ Youth Soccer And Member Leagues Partner for 2023-24 Season

New Jersey Youth Soccer and its Member Leagues have announced a renewed commitment for the 2023-24 season. Through this ongoing relationship, the State Association and its Member Leagues remain focused on continued collaboration to improve the membership experience, both on and off the field.

“We are thrilled by the recent growth of our Member Leagues,” said Jess Yeager, NJYS President. “These Leagues continue to function as critical partners in the long-term success of soccer in New Jersey and continue to support the game day needs of the more than 100,000 players and more than 10,000 coaches throughout the state. The Leagues are an influencing factor in the decisions we make that impact the game itself. Representatives of the Leagues hold key positions on our various Advisory Boards, and the Presidents of the Member Leagues are part of the League Roundtable that continues to drive strategy at the competition level. Without them, we could not do all we do for the most important member that we all serve, the player.”

Current member leagues of NJ Youth Soccer include 3M Soccer League, Central Jersey Futsal League, CJYSA-EDP, Metro Youth Soccer League, Mid-New Jersey Youth Soccer Association, Monmouth Ocean Soccer Association, Morris County Youth Soccer Association, Northern Burlington Recreation Soccer League, Ocean County Recreation Soccer, Rockaway Valley Soccer League and Suburban Youth Soccer League.

3M Soccer League was founded in 2002 when East Brunswick Soccer Club and many other clubs saw diminishing participation from recreational soccer players in the older ranks. During the first two seasons of the league, East Brunswick Soccer Club and East Windsor Soccer Club only had two boys teams that were created from a combination of U13-U18 players. As the years progressed, the league has expanded dramatically to currently include a combined 35 boys and girls teams in nine different towns. Further, the expanded growth has led to the formation of Junior (U13-U15) and Senior Divisions. Overall, the 3M Soccer League now gives more than 600 players the opportunity to play through their senior year of high school.

CJF Futsal League offers many different options to get involved in the game of Futsal, with programming that includes weekly leagues, training, tournaments and street futsal.

Additionally, CJYSA-EDP conducts more than 20 tournaments and showcases each year to provide different forms of competitive experiences.
