New Jersey Youth Soccer hosted the Spring State Cups Championships over the weekend, crowning its 15U-19U National Championship, Challenge Cup and Presidents Cup winners. The top teams in the state battled record heat for the opportunity to be recognized as the champion in their respective tournament and age group.
Across the three tournament tiers, overall participation exceeded 1,000 teams for the second consecutive season. Participating teams were matched with a long and challenging road to the finals.
“We are extremely proud of the accomplishments of our players and coaches this season,” said Ryan Foley, NJYS Manager, Communications & Strategy. “New Jersey Youth Soccer’s State Cup has, once again, provided teams with the opportunity to compete at the highest levels in the state.”
The winners of the National Championship Series and Presidents Cup competitions are afforded the opportunity to compete at the regional level of their respective tournaments in West Virginia later next month.
Congratulations to the Champions!
