If your team is planning to play outside of New Jersey, you need to notify New Jersey Youth Soccer to have your team and players covered by the NJYS Insurance program.  This notification will be done with an online Travel Notification Form.

The NJYS insurance program does not a team that is attending a tournament that is not sanctioned by a member of US Youth Soccer nor do we extend our insurance coverage to a NJYS team that participates in a tournament not sanctioned by New Jersey Youth Soccer or another State Association that is a member of US Youth Soccer

If your organization wants to hold a tournament, you need to have a Permission to Host a Tournament Agreement approved by NJYS.

The New Jersey Youth Soccer Board of Directors has reaffirmed its position on tournament play for U10 and below players.  These players may only travel to tournaments that are non results oriented for these age groups.  That it, there are no declared champion and every participant receives the same participation award.  NJYS will only sanctioned a tournament that includes U10 and below play that meets the same non results oriented guidelines.
