Rules for
NJYS National Championships
and NJYS State Cup

Check In Procedures

The team's coach or manager must have all of the following documents in his/her possession and available for inspection at all times during NJYS Championships, Regional Championships, and National Competitions and the NJYS State Cup:

  1. US Youth Soccer Member passes for all rostered players
    • All member passes must be current and valid
    • All NJYS member passes must be validated by a District Commissioner
       
  2. Coaches passes for all coaches listed on that team's roster
    • All member passes must be current and valid
    • All member passes must be validated by a District Commissioner
       
  3. Official Team Roster Including all Add/Drop forms (Player/Coach Status forms)
     
  4. Game Roster on NJYS Game Report Form
     
  5. Notarized Medical Release forms
     
  6. Photocopy of Birth Certificates

Check in is required for all games held at the centralized locations.

For quarter final games, the NJYS Cup Committee will review all documentation listed above.  The coach or manager can complete these reviews.  The coach or manager shall also submit a fully completed game report.

At the semi final game, the player pass of each player will be verified against the frozen roster. The NJYS Cup Committee will review all documentation listed above. The team must also submit a game report with the team name complete and the roster of players.

At the final games, each player must be present and sign the Championship roster (blue roster) that the NJYS Cup Committee will provide to the team. The NJYS Cup Committee will review all documentation listed above. The team must also submit a game card with the team name complete and the roster of players. Player signature will be verified with the member pass.
