Initial Pool Selection - U12 (1996) Boys

Program Description

First Round of Tryouts - The first round of the Initial Pool Selection process for the 1996 boys age groups will held at the Bordentown Friendship Fields [Directions] on May 13 and May 14. Sign-in begins at 5:30 pm and the tryout will begin at 6:00 pm and conclude at 8:00 pm. Two pools will be identified. The Upper Pool is for those players living in the North and Central areas and the Lower Pool is for those players living in the Shore and South Areas. These pools are defined by the county in which the player resides. Players must participate in their birth year only - positively no playing up. This tryout is for players born in 1996 only. Every player must attend the tryout. Players will not be given a waiver for injury or illness. A player who cannot attend the tryout is ineligible for the ODP program for the rest of the program year.

The Upper Pool tryout will be May 13 and is for players living in Bergen, Passaic, Hudson, Essex, Sussex and Morris Counties of the North Area and players living in Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Somerset, Union and Warren Counties of the Central Area. The Lower Pool will be May 14 and is for players living in Monmouth and Ocean counties of the Shore Area and Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem Counties of the South Area

Final Pools Tryouts - A call back tryout will be held for those players selected in the first round of tryouts. Only those players whose tryout number has been posted will be invited to the call back tryout. The call back tryout for the Upper Pool will be held on Tuesday, May 20 and for the Lower Pool on Wednesday, May 21. A maximum of 25 players for each age group will be selected for each final pool.
