This page provides an outline of the activities for the 2007-2008 ODP Development program for boys born in 1996.  The program will begin in May 2008 with the Initial Pool Selection and will continue through the Regional Camps in July 2008.  The schedule of activities is outlined below showing the date, time, and location for each event.  In addition, the fees for the program are listed below.

Players and their families should be aware of certain policies in the ODP Program.  The Uniform policy requires each player to satisfy their financial responsibilities to the program before receiving their uniforms.  Players who have paid their Fees by the due date will receive their uniform kit in June.  NJYS has a scholarship program to assist players with the cost of the ODP program.  Details of the scholarship program will be sent to all players who are selected for the Final State Pool.

Each player will be asked declare if they are going to attend the Regional Development Camp for their age group.  NJYS makes a commitment to Region I for the number of players who say that they will attend the camp.  The player's decision on attending the camp is irrevocable.

NJYS must send chaperones with the players to the regional camps.  This age group requires six (6) chaperones.  Each chaperone must complete an NJYS KidSafe form and must pass a background check.  NJYS will credit a player $100 per night that a parent is a chaperone.  Teams that do not have the required number of chaperones for an event will not attend that event.

Notes

NJYS will distribute scholarship applications to all players with their acceptance letters.  Applications for scholarship must be submitted on or before the date the State Fees are due. A decision of ODP program scholarship award will be mailed to player’s parents.

New Jersey Youth Soccer accepts credit card payments, VISA and MasterCard only, for any of the above fees.

All fees, once paid, are non refundable unless a player has a serious medical injury that incapacitates the player for an extended period of time.  NJYS will require medical documentation before making any refund of fees paid. The NJYS decision is final. A refund of fees will not be made for any other reason.

Player Uniforms

Players who have paid their Fees by the due date will receive their uniforms at the last practice session in June. The kit will consist of a uniform shirt, a t-shirt, a pair of shorts and a pair of socks.
