New Jersey Youth Soccer is pleased to share with you our December edition of the Coaches E-Connection to keep you informed of our latest coaching news. We endeavor to increase our communication via this monthly initiative.

Coach of the Year Applications

The 2017 Bob McNulty NJYS Travel Coach of the Year is awarded to a competitive coach for either a boys team or a girls team for his or her coaching activities, sportsmanship, player development, personal coaching development and citizenship. The Bob McNulty Travel Coach of the Year will be recognized at the 2018 NJYS Annual Awards Dinner. Make a nomination.

The 2017 NJYS Recreation Coach of the Year is awarded to a recreational level coach for either a boys team or a girls team for his or her coaching activities, sportsmanship, player development, personal coaching development and citizenship. The Recreation Coach of the Year will be recognized at the 2018 NJYS Annual Awards Dinner. Make a nomination.

Indoor Facilities

New Jersey Youth Soccer proudly recognizes our sanctioned indoor facilities. On our website, you will find a list of venues at which carded NJYS players are encouraged to participate. Please be advised that NJ Youth Soccer does not currently cover insurance claims related to Futsal competition. Read more.

NJ Youth Soccer Crowns State Cup Champions

New Jersey Youth Soccer recently crowned its U12-U14 National Championship Series, U12-U14 Presidents Cup and U11-U14 Commissioners Cup champions in State Cup competition, with semifinal and championship matches being held in Bordentown, New Jersey. Read more. | View gallery.

New York Red Bulls Announces Partnership Renewal with NJ Youth Soccer

The New York Red Bulls have extended their exclusive partnership with New Jersey Youth Soccer. The two organizations will continue to work together to help develop, educate and inspire players and youth coaches at the grassroots level through various programming. Additionally, the relationship will continue to focus on community outreach initiatives such as TOPSoccer. Read more.

NJ Youth Soccer Partners with Philadelphia Union

New Jersey Youth Soccer is excited to partner with the Philadelphia Union of Major League Soccer. The Union will support NJ Youth Soccer programming and community-based initiatives such as TOPSoccer, which is a program for young athletes with special needs. Read more.

NJ Youth Soccer Proudly Supporting 2018 United Soccer Coaches Convention

With the 2018 United Soccer Coaches Convention officially set for Jan. 17-21 in Philadelphia, we are pleased to share a NJYS registration discount opportunity in anticipation of this annual gathering of the national soccer community. Read more.

NJ Youth Soccer "F" and "E" Coaching Certificate Courses Now Available

NJ Youth Soccer is currently accepting applicants for its upcoming NJYS "F" and "E" coaching certifications. The State "F" Certificate is recommended for coaching players who are between the age of 6-11 years old, and it is now a requirement for all volunteer travel team coaches. The State "E" Certificate is a 13-hour formal course that is designed for all coaches who recently completed the NJYS "F" Course and are looking to learn more. No waiting period is required between taking the NJYS "F" Course and the NJYS State "E" Course.
