New Coaching Education Opportunities

We are excited to announce several coaching education opportunities for all levels launching in 2019.

US Soccer National C License: Meeting 1: June 17-21 to August 12-16, 2019 (Meeting 2): at Cedar Stars Academy at Monmouth in Tinton Falls, NJ. The C course consists of two separate five day meetings separated by a development period. Candidates have the opportunity to practically apply what they have learned in their home environment with their own team between these meetings. The second and final meeting will include candidate field assessment. Registration will take place directly through the US Soccer Digital Coaching Center beginning January 1, 2019.

US Soccer Grassroots Licenses: Since January of 2018 NJYS has been instructing the new 4v4, 7v7, 9v9 and 11v11 US Soccer Grassroots License coaching courses all throughout NJ! Coaches have the option to take the 4v4, 7v7, 9v9 and 11v11 online as well! Prospective coaches now have eight (8) options relevant to their needs and specific coaching environment. These courses will be focused on empowering coaches through experiential learning and a player-centered approach using the Play-Practice-Play methodology. The course options will relate directly to small-sided games and the respective age-groups outlined in the Player Development Initiatives.

Participants at U.S. Soccer's National Coaching Schools will have the opportunity to earn a nationally recognized license from U.S. Soccer, a member of Federacion Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), and the governing body of soccer in all its forms in the United States.

We hope you take advantage of these great opportunities! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us.
