1. For the first round of the NJYS Championships, the home team will be indicated
on the listing of teams as posted by the NJYS Cup Committee on this website.
The home team is the lower draw number in pairings. In subsequent rounds, the Cup Committee, using the following guidelines, determines
the home team. The home team will be
noted in the weekly updates posted on the NJYS website.
If both teams were at home in the previous round, the lower number team will be the
home team for the current round.
If both teams were away in the previous round, the lower number team will be the home
team for the current round.
If one team in the previous round was at home and the other team in the previous round
was away, the team that was away in the previous round will be the home team for the
current round. The home team will be noted on the weekly update available to each team.
A bye is a home team win.
2. The home team will provide a proper size field with required markings, flags, and nets, as well as a suitable ball.
3. The home team must contact their league assignor
to arrange for a referee crew for the match. A three referee crew
should be assigned.
4. The home team is expected to provide good directions to the field site when calling the visiting team.
