Here are a few hints to consider when looking for a player in
GotSoccer that you want to add to your team as a secondary player.
- When you Click on the + sign next to the "Search for
Secondary Players", the system will populate the Age field with the age group of
the team trying to add players as a default. However, you must search on
the age of the player. So, if you are trying to add a younger player, you
must change the age group to the age group of the player, not the team.
For example, if you wanted to add a U11 player to your U12 team, the age group
should be U11, not U12. Otherwise, you will not find the player.
- You can fill in the gender, it will speed up the search a
little.
- Add the player's name, first name last name. Make sure you
are spelling it right. Add the players ID number NJ????????. This
doesn't seem to be a problem as every one should have a copy of the player's
primary pass when looking to add a secondary player.
- Leave the team name blank. The odds are you will not
spell the team name the same way GotSoccer knows the team name and, if you don't
spell it the same, you will not find the player. The search takes a little
longer but it eliminates a problem area.
