New Jersey Youth Soccer is pleased to share with you our August Recreation Newsletter to keep you informed of the latest news and programs being offered by NJ Youth Soccer. We endeavor to increase our communication via this monthly initiative.

MNJYSA Recreation Festivals

Mid New Jersey Youth Soccer Association is continuing the rollout of its Recreation Festival Program for U6-U9 players. These events feature a 5v5 format, no referees, played on a roughly 25 by 30-yard field, with each team of 5-7 players playing four to five 20-minute games. Registrations must be received by September 6th. More info.

Recreation soccer is the perfect opportunity for youth players of all ages and skill levels to participate in and learn the game of soccer. Watch.

CORNERSTONE Activity: Coach Pac Man

A CORNERSTONE activity is one that can serve as the foundation for your entire practice and with a few modifications you can build an entire practice session around this activity. One such activity is Coach Pac Man, where the coach plays the role of Pac Man while all of the players run freely in the grid. Read more.

Facebook Page Aims to Make Examples of People Who Abuse Soccer Referees

New Jersey Youth Soccer reminds parents and coaches that physical abuse against referees can lead to serious consequences, now including the possibility of being seen on a Facebook page started by a referee. Read more.

Registration for the 2018 Target United Cup is open! This is a wonderful opportunity for players to experience a consistent, high quality tournament in a fun family-like atmosphere.
