August 2018 Coaches E-Connection

New Jersey Youth Soccer is pleased to share with you our August edition of the Coaches E-Connection to keep you informed of our latest coaching news. We endeavor to increase our communication via this monthly initiative.

NJYS State Cups Registration Closes on August 27th - Early Registration Ends on August 20th Registration is now open for New Jersey Youth Soccer's 2018-19 State Cups competitions, which includes the National Championship Series, Presidents Cup and Commissioners Cup. Read more.

Young Olympians Continues in September

Programming for the NJYS Young Olympians program started in July, with the next session currently planned for September. The Young Olympians Program, designed specifically for players born in 2008 and 2009, is an introductory stage for players who aspire to play at a high level and provides a path to participate in ODP. Facebook Page Aims to Make Examples of People Who Abuse Soccer Referees

New Jersey Youth Soccer reminds parents and coaches that physical abuse against referees can lead to serious consequences, now including the possibility of being seen on a Facebook page started by a referee. Read more.

21 New Jersey Teams Selected for US Youth National League Play

US Youth Soccer has officially announced the pool of teams that have been selected for play during the 2018-19 National League season, with 21 teams chosen that will be representing New Jersey. Read more.

USYS National Championships Conclude in Texas

The 2018 US Youth Soccer National Championships were held at the Toyota Soccer Center in Frisco, Texas, with NJ Youth Soccer being represented in the competition by Real Jersey FC 14U Boys, PDA Shore 16U Girls, SJEB Rush 16U Girls and Princeton Soccer Association 18U Girls. Recap | Best XI

USYS National Presidents Cup Hosted in Indiana

The 2018 US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup recently concluded in Westfield, Indiana. Representing NJ Youth Soccer in the tournament were Mainland United South Jersey FC 17U Boys and Den of Lions Gunners 15U Boys. Read more.

State Certificate

The NJYS F Certificate is now the State Certificate. The name may have changed, but it is still the same great comprehensive nine-hour course that will allow you to obtain a NJYS Coaches Pass. Below are some upcoming courses that you can register for here:
