New Jersey Team Size Policy

Beginning with the 2003 – 2004 seasonal year, the following team size policy will apply:

Traveling Team Soccer

U19 – U11	Full sided play
U10 – U8	Small sided with no more than 8 players
U7 and below	Shall not play traveling soccer

Recreation Soccer

No policy is mandated; however, the number of players per team recommended:

U12	11 maximum	8 strongly recommended
U11	11 maximum	8 strongly recommended
U10	7 maximum	6 strongly recommended
U8	5 maximum	4 strongly recommended
U6	4 maximum	3 strongly recommended
