Outreach Programs

	TOPSoccer - The Official Program for Young Athletes with Disabilities TOPSoccerŽ (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a community-based training and team placement program for young athletes with disabilities, organized by youth soccer association volunteers. The program is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl who has a mental or physical disability. Our goal is to enable the thousands of young athletes with disabilities to become valued active members of the US Youth Soccer family.

	Soccer Across America - The Program for Children at Risk Soccer Across America is designed to introduce the sport of soccer to youngsters living in communities not yet served by existing clubs and leagues. Focused on making soccer available to lower-income children in underserved communities, Soccer Start provides soccer training and administrative guidance to players and organizations who might otherwise not be exposed to the sport. Soccer Start also helps new programs find the funding and equipment to begin and then to expand their activities.
	Celebration of Soccer - The NJYS Activity for Inner City Programs A program designed to support NJYS member clubs in the inner cities. Players arrive by age group and spend about 90 minutes playing warm up activities and then small sided games. No coaches, no referees, no standings, just fun. Music plays and when the music stops after about 10 minutes, the teams switch fields and play another team for about 10 minutes. At the end of the session, a group picture is taken and then the players line up to receive a goodie bag of soccer items, an inflated soccer ball, and a t-shirt. After their goodies, the players receive a hot dog and drink for lunch.
